York Lokomotive ARLC made it two wins in two RL Conference Yorkshire East games by seeing off Walton Warriors 36-24.
Blustery conditions made the game scrappy, but Lokos toughed it out and built a 22-10 half-time lead through Tom Storey, with a solo try, winger Gareth Howell, John Hough with a barnstorming run, and Howell again, after fine play by Liam Watling and Zak Hardy.
Walton fought back after the break, but Lokos sealed the points as Watling blasted through and Gary Watkinson, who added four goals, scored an individual effort from 40 metres, before Storey completed the try-scoring.
