PROMOTION-CHASING Heworth ARLC bagged 11 tries as they romped to a 64-0 victory over Egremont Rangers in National Conference division two.
Centre Marcus Allan and second-row forward Adrian Leek scored a hat-trick apiece in a superb display at Elmpark Way.
Hooker Liam Cochrane set the Villagers on their way with a try in the third minute.
Winger John Coulson ran 50 metres to the line on ten minutes and Leek took a pass from player-coach Chris Smith to cross five minutes later.
Full-back Mike Welsh followed up a Kenny Shepherd kick two minutes before the break and, on the hooter, Allan ran the length of the field.
Scrum-half Shepherd converted all five tries for a 30-0 interval lead.
Coulson notched the first try of the second period, Carl Potter sending him over on 42 minutes.
Smith and Kenny Embleton combined to create a try for Allan on 48 minutes and he completed his hat-trick two minutes later.
Leek completed his treble with scores in the 55th and 61st minutes, capitalising on good work from Smith and Sam Clarke.
Prop forward Liam Watling rounded off the scoring.
Shepherd converted four of the second half tries, with Potter adding the extras to the final try.
Aside from the try scorers, the hosts were well served by Adam Jobling, Potter and Clarke in the forwards.
