A SERIES of new junior netball coaching sessions get under way in York next week.
The sessions are being run by York City Netball Club, formerly known as Rufforth Netball Club, and start at Manor School on Thursday.
The coaching for youngsters in school Years 3 to 6 will take place from 7pm to 7.45pm, with Years 7 to 8 from 7.45pm to 8.30pm for girls only under England Netball rules, and Years 8 and 9 from 8.30pm to 9.15pm.
Players in Year 8 may attend either session initially and will be split accordingly.
The first block of sessions will be from September 11 to October 23.
The cost is £2 per week and a fee of £14 for the seven sessions is payable by September 18.
A handbook including further information about the club will be given out at training.
