A TOTAL of £5,000 was raised for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust at the Yorkshire Junior Tennis Challenge at Ampleforth School.
The competition, now in its third year, was open to all children aged between eight and 15 and 130 youngsters took part.
The 2014 winners were: Class 1 (under-11) - winners: Jaspar Grace and Jamie Duffin; runners-up: Bobby James and James Naylor.
Class 2 (under-13) - winners: Otto Stroyan and Fraser Brooksbank; runners-up: Harry Stephenson and Tom Regis. Class 3 (under- 15) - winners: Geordie Sutcliffe and Clemmie Corner; runners-up: Hugh Hollins and Hamish O’Rourke.
