North of England success for City of York Athletic Club pair
CITY of York Athletic Club’s Lucy Hadaway and Alex Botterill were crowned North of England champions at the Northern Indoor under-15s championships in Sheffield.
Hadaway was first in the 60 metres hurdles in a personal best 6.41 seconds to top the Yorkshire rankings.
Botterill won the 800m in two minutes and 10.92 seconds – a season’s best.
