HUNTINGTON top League B in the York Primary Football Leagues after thumping victories over AYJS and Hob Moor.

The former were dispatched 6-2, consolation goals for AYJS from Max Coxon and Alfie Willis, while Hob Moor were thrashed 5-0. Huntington also picked up a point against Hempland.

Robert Wilkinson, who recently qualified for the North Yorkshire FA Finals, have two wins out of two in second place - including a victory over the league leaders.

Kurtis Beckitt, Frankie Styler and Joseph Winterburn scored a goal each for AYJS as they beat Hempland 3-1.

Copmanthorpe beat Carr 5-2 with Harry Tinkler, Joe Watt, Max Thomas and a Harrison Nicholls brace securing the victory. Pattison and Rowell got consolations for Carr.

Tinkler was on the scoresheet again as Cop lost 2-1 to Poppleton Road.

In League A, Woodthorpe and Westfield drew 2-2 - Tom Dale and Josh Byworth scoring for Westfield.

Ralph Butterfield top League D with three wins and a draw but Yearsley Grove look to be challengers this season with a win and a draw from their two matches.

League E will be a closely run affair.

Lakeside were two goals behind entering the last minute but recovered to beat Park Grove 3-2. A Nathan Lawson goal and an own goal, however, meant they lost 2-0 against Dunnington.

A cruelly deflected shot past the excellent Callum Childs then condemned Dunnington to defeat against Park Grove.

Lakeside sit at the top of the pile thanks to a 6-1 win over Acomb.

Free-scoring St Wilfrid's have netted 17 times and collected nine points in League F. They beat St Aelred's 8-0 and New Earswick 6-0 before seeing off Knavesmire 2-1.

Their only defeat came at the hands of St George's, who could be the ones to watch after an impressive 6-1 win.

Knavesmire, humbled by St Wilfrid's, bounced back to beat St Aelred's 7-0.

Appleton Roebuck have managed three wins and a draw in League G. They beat Heworth 3-0, with two goals from George McVey and a Jake Thompson strike, and drew 0-0 with Elvington and also thumped Haxby Road 8-1.

Thompson netted four times with Ryan Ford and George McVey also among the scorers.

In League H, St Mary's are undefeated. Their highest win was an 8-2 victory over Skelton. The latter were also easily dismissed 7-0 by Rufforth, who then drew with St Mary's.
