A PAIR of hat-tricks propelled York to a win over Woodhouse Grange in the Quality Solicitors Burn & Company Under-11s League.
York bowlers Jack Davies and Tom Matthews both claimed three wickets in three balls in returning figures of 4-7 and 5-1 respectively.
Harvey Gration’s 21 not out and Freddie Schofield’s unbeaten 22 led the way when York batted.
In the U11s Development League, Londesborough Park beat Hemingbrough but then lost out by 11 runs to North Duffield. Joe Britain top-scored with 13 not out.
Meanwhile, Clifton Alliance opened their account in the Quality Solicitors Burn & Company Under-9s Championship with a nine-run win at Bolton Percy.
Matthew Carruthers hit 16 not out for the victors.
