POCKLINGTON Cricket Club Under-10s player Ted Baty won a signed Yorkshire shirt during a visit by Tykes stars Adam Lyth and Andrew Hodd.
Baty won the prize in a raffle when Pocklington hosted an evening with Yorkshire chief executive Mark Arthur, director of cricket development Ian Dews and first-teamers Lyth and Hodd at their Burnby Road clubhouse.
The evening raised more than £200 for club funds at Pocklington, who are planning further improvements to their facilities after winning the York & District Senior League’s most improved club award in 2013.
Pocklington are keen to welcome new members – boys, girls and seniors – and further information about the club is available by phoning chairman Andy Inns on 07790 243703.
