SHERIFF Hutton Bridge kept up the pressure on the Quality Solicitors Burn & Company U9 Development League zone ‘D’ leaders Wheldrake with an important win over Ovington.
Lewis Humphreys took 3-6 and scored 12 not out, while Jacob Kirby made a classy 21 not out and took 1-12.
In the Bridge innings, there were wickets for Ovington’s Jonah Waites, Alex Steel, Zachery Blower, Oliver Steel, Josh Bartlett and Ewan Bryce.
With the bat, Zachery Blower and Joe Bartlett were both joint top-scorers with 12 not out.
