LEADERS Acomb ‘A’ kept their Quality Solicitors Burn & Company Under-11 Championship division one unbeaten record intact with a win at Dunnington ‘A’.

Jamie Thornton made 20no, Chris Wood and Will Anderson both made 17no, and Thomas Brown 13no.

Josh Tingle took 2-3 and Joe Hickey 2- 2 but the star was Dan Tingle who took a hat-trick in a 3-1 haul off two overs.

For Dunnington, Harry Griffiths made 12no and Oliver Thornton took 2-11.

Second-placed Sheriff Hutton Bridge beat Heworth ‘A’.

Theo Smerdon top-scored with 27 with George Stephens 12no. There was success too for Alex Chalton (3-12), Isaac Giannini (2-12) and Will Guyer (1-2).

For Heworth, Jack Wilkinson made 14no and took 2-13. Also in the wickets were A Bell (1-4), Robert Draper (1-5) and E Bradshaw (1-19).

Wilkinson and Lewis Meek both hit 13 as Heworth ‘A’ beat Malton & Old Malton. Among the Heworth wicket-takers were Robert Draper (2-2), Leo Jones (2-7) and Will Rountree (2-7).

Harvey Dixon top-scored for Pocklington against Malton & Old Malton with 31 supported by 12 from Jack Smith and 15 from Adam Young, while Young took 2-6, Max Willmott 3-6 and Losh Jenkins 3-13.

Will Schofield made 24 and took 2-1 for Malton with Dan Batchelor (2-22), Ryan Chapman (2-15) and Joe Judge (2- 18) also excelling with the ball.

Hosts Clifton Alliance shaded their division two game against Stamford Bridge by just three runs. Isaac Kennedy hit 15 and Dan Stevenson 16, and Kier Brookes Humphrey took 2-11.

For Stamford Bridge, Liam Easton topscored on 17no, W Dixon took 1-12 and B Ipar 1-8.

Dunnington ‘B’ beat Clifton Alliance thanks to Jack Batchelor scoring 14 and E Hunter 13, while they also triumphed at Acomb ‘B’, where Batchelor again top scored with 11 and Max Potter took 4-1 and Max Wilson 4-8.

For Acomb, Harry Oaten made 16 and Daniel Simpson 12 while team-mate Sarah Burton took 1-6.
