YORK Golf Club have appointed their first girl as junior captain in their 125th anniversary year.
Emma Audsley has been playing golf for less than five years, but has already reached a handicap of 16 at the age of 14.
The youngster’s fellow captains at the Strensall course are Hilary Bogue and Ralph Magee.
