SIMBA Samba triumphed 1-0 over FC Banterlona in the final of the second FLF football competition at Fulford School.

Benidorm topped the table after the regular season, winning all 15 of their games, with Inner City Firm second, Simba Samba third and Brazilliant FC fourth.

The top eight teams in the table contested the two-legged quarter-finals, with Simba Samba cancelling out a one-goal deficit from the first leg against Piran White Appreciation Society to triumph 4-3 on penalties.

Ajax Treesdown ousted Inner City Firm in a last-eight shoot-out, winning 5-4 on spot-kicks after drawing 0-0 and 2-2, while Borussia MunchonFlapjack were 5-1 aggregate winners over Brazilliant and FC Banterlona knocked out Benidorm 2-0 on aggregate.

Simba Samba again needed penalties to reach the final, beating Borussia MunchonFlapjack 6-5 after a 1-1 draw, while Banterlona won by the same spot kick scoreline after drawing 1-1 with Ajax Treesdown.
