CITY of York Athletic Club’s Lucy Hadaway is ranked fourth in the country at under-17s level after starring at the National Indoor Pentathlon in Sheffield.
Hadaway clocked two minutes 43.26 seconds in the 800 metres and 9.38 seconds in the 60 metre hurdles, while also recording 1.54 metres in the high jump, 5.56 metres in the long jump and 11.16 metres in the shot.
Club-mate Alice Linaker, who is ranked seventh in the country, clocked 2-38.05 in the 800m and 9.22 seconds in the 60m hurdles, and had a 1.54m high jump, a 5.15m long jump and shot throw of 9.94m.
Rachel White, ranked 13th, ran 2-47.23 in the 800m and 10.03 seconds in the 60m hurdles, 1.54m in the high jump, 5.09m in the long jump and 9.33m in the shot.
In the U15s section, Elle Sewell failed to finish the 800m, clocked 10.72 seconds in the 60m hurdles, and had 1.24m in the high jump, 4.01m in the long jump and 9.11m in the shot.
