LEADERS Dringhouses warmed up for York FA Under-19s Football League clash of the day with a nap-hand conquest of Thorpe United.

Ahead of the clash against second-placed Tockwith tomorrow, Tom Hawksby was the major force against Thorpe bagging a hat-trick with the other goals coming from Joe Rawcliffe and Sam Lake.

The Thorpe consolation was struck by Steven Frost.

Top scorers of last week's fixtures were third-placed Haxby Town.

They routed Rawcliffe 12-0 with the bulk of the spree led by Harry Moorcroft, with a five-goal haul, and four from Dan Clipston. Also on target were David Fell, Alex Wilkins and Kieron Dunlop.

The day's other big winners were York RI, who walloped Wilberfoss 10-0. Half the tally was totalled by Dan Hickey with the other five goals shared between Judah Cocker (2), Mick Long Liam Crosby and Brad Urquhart all on target.

Fulford shaded second from bottom outfit Stillington by the odd goal in five, with Conor Wade (2) and Patrick Wintie hitting the mark. The Stillington replies were bagged by Ryan Gale and Ross Hardman.

Honours were shared between York Cubs and Wigginton Grasshoppers. Ed Chapman notched a brace for the Cubvs, while the Grasshoppers' goals were hit by Charlie Nogan and James Sutton.
