Haxby Netball Club finished the 2007/08 York & District Netball League season on a supreme high note.

All the club's seven teams posted victories, which is quite a feat, and one that cannot happen very often as the clubs' first four teams often find themselves competing against each other in the top division.

Haxby 2 were the first to celebrate when they beat Osbaldwick A', and by so doing, helped club-mates in teams 3 and 4 to remain in division one next season as Osbaldwick will be relegated to play alongside their B' team in the second division.

Haxby 5 then toppled Millers B' by two goals to ensure fourth position in division three.

The Haxby have-a-win trend continued when Haxby 4 travelled to Rawcliffe 1.

Both rivals had been locked in a relegation battle most of the season, with Rawcliffe taking the spoils before Christmas. But second time around, maximum points went to Haxby, who won 19-18 for both sides to stay in division one.

Haxby 1 and 3 teams were both in winning action on the same night.

The 3rds gained a ten-goal differential in their favour (30-20) at relegated Stamford Vikings A', while at Haxby the first team - reigning league champions - took on nearest rivals Rufforth A'.

Despite having three regular players missing, the champions-elect won 32-23 to take the crown for the second consecutive year.

Second position in the top flight remains open as Rufforth A' have yet to play Ladybirds, whose B' team went through the season unbeaten to seize the division five crown.

Haxby 6 took the division four title with an emphatic 43-12 win over British Sugar and Haxby's winning whitewash was confirmed when the club's 7 ranks overcame College of Law 30-28 to remain mid-table of division six.
