RICH DARLING was a clear winner of the York and District Amalgamation of Anglers’ Late Spring Match at Laybourne Lakes.
Darling’s haul weighed in at 69lb 8oz in the contest on Marley Pool, with Tony Stephenson way back on 46lb.
B Harrison and A Pfluger were joint third on 40lb in a field of 23 anglers.
Meanwhile, the Amalgamation will stage a Veterans’ Match at Laybourne’s Marley Pool next Wednesday.
The draw will be held at 1pm, with fishing from 2pm to 7pm.
