POCKLINGTON Karate Centre pair Oliver Willison and Will Brigham bagged five gold medals at the World Traditional Karate Association European Championships in Sheffield.
The duo's medal tally also included a silver and a bronze at the championships, which included competitors from Wales, Scotland, Sweden, France, Italy, Slovakia, Portugal, Norway and America.
Willison, whose last international competition was in 2007, was crowned European champion in the traditional kata and the hard style kata.
Brigham, in his debut appearance at this level of competition, won bronze in the hard style kata and the pair joined forces to win gold in the team kata.
Willison claimed a fourth gold in the kumite under-65 kilogramme category, while he was forced to settle for silver in the open weight kumite.
Willison's performance has caught the eye of England selectors ahead of the World Championships later this year.
