AKE PATCHETT racked up three straight legs to beat Scott Bennett and become the Streamline Taxis York Open Darts Championship Ranking Stage Six winner.

The Hull player averaged 85.71 during his final against Lincoln’s Bennett, which he won 5-2.

Patchett reached the final-two showdown after he had beaten Malton’s Paul Bulmer in the semis.

Bennett had advanced to the final with a victory over Mark Lawrence.

All four of the quarter-finals finished in 3-0 wins. Bennett defeated Wayne Woodhouse, Patchett beat Richie Corner, while Lawrence beat Tim Grice and Dean Conley lost to Bulmer.
