HENRY’S Gym, the boxing club run by York’s most successful professional boxer Henry Wharton, is readying itself for the first show of the new season.
The club, which is housed in the 10,000 square foot gym built by Wharton on the former first floor of the Regent Cinema in York Road, Acomb, will host the show on Thursday, October 16.
Tickets cost £25 VIP and £15 normal and sales are going very well, reported Wharton, the former undefeated European, Commonwealth and British super-middleweight champion. Tickets can be obtained by phoning Wharton on 07543 636424.
