Boxers and coaches at YBC
THERE was excellence and anguish in almost equal measure at York Boxing Club’s ‘Wanted Young Guns’ show at Tramways Working Men’s Club.
The star factor was in YBC revelling in no fewer than ten victories out of the 14 bouts on the show with teenager Courtney Catterson, again excelling in her fledgling amateur career.
But the woe was a hand injury for Tom Macdonald to quell his advance in the junior Amateur Boxing Association championships.
