George Noble and Erik Wagenaars scored three straight wins for Clifton.

Clifton ‘B’ matched their club-mates, beating Riverside 9-0 with Kevin Davison and Dennis Cleary leading the way.

The battle of the top RI teams saw Tuesday/ Thursday ‘A’ toppled 9-0 by Monday/Wednesday ‘A’.

Mark Harris and Sam Kee were the pick for the victorious side.

RI Monday/Wednesday ‘B’ rounded off a good week for the club with an 8-1 home win over Shepherds in men’s two.

Dave Preece and Loz Smith maintained their unbeaten run with three wins, including a success against Paul Nichol and James Pearson.

Ed Hadcock and Dominic Ip were instrumental in RI Monday/Wednesday ‘C’s 6-3 win at Terry’s in men’s three, gaining two wins.

University Students ‘C’ were 6-3 victors over Fulfordgate, whose only victorious pair were Mat Hobman and Steve Walker.

Hobman then teamed up with Hazel Winfield to help Fulfordgate ‘A’ to a 6-3 win over Knavesmire in mixed three.

Dave Brogden and Joy Wilson picked up two wins for Knavesmire.

University Students ‘C’ lost ground in the mixed three title race after a 7-22 defeat at Tadcaster 86 ‘B’.

Fraser Clark and Jaclyn Shorter enjoyed three wins for Tad, while Ollie Metcalf and Louise Kemp got the students’ consolation.

Selby/Drax ‘B’ were 7-2 home winners over Nestlé Rowntree in mixed three.

Aileen Prickett and Naz Shefta were the best for the Selby side with three wins.
