In a little over a month the York City Knights will take to the field for the start of their 2009 campaign with pre-season friendlies.
The wider community of York and North Yorkshire should take the opportunity to get themselves down to Huntington Stadium and support not only the players that take to the field, but the club as a whole.
The Knights have a fantastic community programme in place, something that every individual in the city should be proud of.
If the end of last season is anything to go by the calibre of rugby played by the Knights will be exciting to watch under player-coach Paul March and James Ratcliffe (director of rugby) and the team will certainly play with pride, passion and commitment.
It’s sure to be another rollercoaster season of emotions – that’s what so great about watching rugby league, so don’t miss out, get on board, and support York City Knights.
