Selby Cricket Club have signed three new players – Josh Jackson from Bowling Old Lane and brothers Tom and Dan Collins, both from Hemingbrough.
Jackson is a slow left arm spin bowler and useful batsman, while Tom Collins can bat, bowl and keep wicket and his brother Dan is a useful all-rounder.
New skipper Gareth Roberts said: “This can only add to the competition for places at Selby and keep every player on his toes.”
The club start indoor nets this Thursday at Selby College, from 7pm to 8pm running for six weeks. Existing members and new members are welcome to attend.
The club have also brought in a senior coach, Peter Hepworth, who has played first class cricket for Leicestershire.
The first XI will play a pre-season friendly against Yorkshire League side Castleford.
