SIMON DYSON tumbled out of the Omega European Masters in Switzerland after paying the price for a nightmare first round.
The Malton & Norton Golf Club pro had been hoping to kick on after getting in the prize money at the D+D REAL Czech Masters.
However, he missed the cut at Crans-sur-Sierre GC in Crans Montana after firing an eight-over-par first round of 78, following up with a one-over-par second-round 71.
The York-born European Tour veteran, who has been struggling for consistency in recent times on the back of longstanding wrist problems, shot two double-bogeys and six bogeys in round one, winning back shots only twice.
Round two was more up and down, this time notching six birdies but coming a cropper with three double-bogeys, plus another dropped shot.
The cut came at level par.
