FULFORDGATE increased their lead at the top of the York John Smith's Ladies Darts League division one with a superb victory at Tramways.

Michelle Britton, Jill Reed, and Muriel and Cara Britton established a 2-4 lead with Tracey and Natalie Farmeary scoring for Tramways.

Alex Exton joined Muriel Britton and Dawn Exton/Reed to add to Fulfordgate's tally. Gina Whittaker/Bev Harton narrowed the winning margin.

Burnholme nudged into second place after a 5-4 win against close rivals Priory.

Marj Pearson, Sharon Neads, Sarah Jackson (70 co), and Jane Dobson gave Burnholme a clear advantage before Di Moreland and Becky Thompson replied for Priory.

Moreland/Pat Cairns narrowed the gap however Pearson combined with Jean West to secure match points.

Landlady Linda Penrose and Sharon Rishworth gave Marcia a start before Brenda Dawe put visitors Leeman ‘B’ on the score sheet.

Chris Hayward, Heather Outterson restored the Bishopthorpe side's advantage before Heather Bulmer replied. Rishworth was joined by Barbara Russell to seal match points. Hayward/Penrose added a point and Bulmer/Julie Oliver gained the visitors a further point.

In division two, Leeman ‘A’ were 2-4 down to visitors Nags - Sue Tate, Doreen Johnstone, Jody Hancock and Vicky Sellers winning for Nags.

But Debbie and daughter Charlotte Witts won to give Leeman hope and a clean sweep in the pairs resulted in Margaret Yeomans/Jackie Gray snatching victory for the home side.

Severus ‘B’ were prevented from securing a 'full house' by Shoulder ‘B’ pairing Jackie Young/Sandra Flintoft.

Leaders Severus ‘A’ were taken to the wire at Saddle who were unlucky not to break their duck. Sue Clark, Steph Barker, Jackie Simpson, and Sheila Elliott gave the club side the upper hand - however Liz Jackson started the revival. Kath Powell then pairs Vicky McClaren/Sharon Nelson narrowed the gap before Jackson/Powell combined to set up a deciding leg which saw Barker/Clark snatch victory for the front runners.

Linda Embleton/Sheila Elliott combined to snatch a 4-5 win for Burton at Clockhouse with Embleton hitting a maximum 180.

In the York White Rose Ladies Darts League, Acomb Sports beat Lord Nelson 5-2 with A.Bryszkiewski (100) and J.Bond (140). V.Finney scored 121 for Nelson.

New Earswick Bowls won 4-3 against King William. F.Hunt (112), C.Atkinson (100), A.Ella (109, 125)), and J.Turton (117) scored centuries on the night.

Lord Collingwood came from behind to win 4-3 at home to New York whose D.Fahey scored 100.

Clarence won 5-2 at Crescent. CS Walker (114) and K.Horner (103) hitting centuries.

D.Benson scored 120 in the pairs with S.Macartney as Punch Bowl beat Ebor 4-3. C.Hedley also scored 100 in defeat.
