FULFORDGATE have shot to the top of division one in the York John Smith's Ladies Darts League after a comprehensive 9-0 victory over visitors Marcia. Michelle Britton/Dawn Exton won their pairs in 23 darts for Fulfordgate.

Edinburgh's Julie Stable and Anthea Jamieson hit the tons as they won 6-3 against visitors Bootham Cons Club (formerly Ox ‘A’).

Priory had a clean sweep in the singles at Shoulder ‘A’ (formerly Ox ‘B’) with Stacy Morris sealing match points after good wins for team-mates Clair Cooper, Ellen Platt, Babs Harrison, Di Moreland, and Becky Thompson.

Tramways' match against Burnholme went to the wire - Jayne Janes, Gina Whittaker, and Tracey Farmeary scored for Ways while Marj Pearson, Sarah Jackson, Lynne Willstrop and replied. Bev Harton/Natalie Farmeary nudged the home side ahead however Pearson/Jackson set up a decider which saw Sharon Neads/Jane Dobson snatch match points.

Michelle Kelly, Wendy Storr, Sue Gillon, and Sharon Mountain put points on the board for Severus ‘B’ before opponents Saddle got off the mark.

Kath Powell and Sharon Nelson narrowed the gap, however, a clean sweep in the pairs saw the club side heading to the top of division two.

Sue Clark hit the tons for Severus ‘A’ at Burton Stone whose Sheila Harrison replied. Mavis Gallimore, Jackie Simpson, and Steph Barker restored the club side's advantage before Sandra Pallister pulled one back. Susan Barker/Linda Embleton and Marianne Dreamer/Katrina Thackray levelled the match. It was left to Clark to combine with Severus colleague Sue Richardson to snatch victory.

Nags were soon set adrift against visitors Clifton as Sarah Evans and Alice and Cris Turgoose put points on the board. Jody Hancock, Sue Tate, and Doreen Johnstone levelled the match before Evans/Karen Hodgson edged the visitors in front. Hancock/Johnstone replied to set up a decider where mother and daughter pairing Alice and Cris Turgoose secured match points.

Clockhouse won at Leeman ‘A’ and were set on their way by Kate Rankeillor, Laura Gatenby, and Lisa Benton. Janet Nelson and Denise Pittock closed the gap for Leeman but Rose Gray replied and a full house in the pairs saw Clock taking home a 7-2 result.
