Croquet winner Callum Johnson with runner-up Fiona Crompton
YORK student Callum Johnson has won the leading individual croquet event in Yorkshire.
Johnson, a sixth former at York College, won the Full Lawn trophy at the Yorkshire Croquet Federation tournament.
It attracted players from all across the county to York croquet club on Scarcroft Road. Fiona Crompton, also from York, finished runner-up.
The next major tournament is the York Open Short Lawn Tournament on September 17-18.
