TOCKWITH Motor Sports are back on top in the Britcar Dunlop Endurance Championship after an impressive round at Donington last weekend.

Phil Hanson and Nigel Moore, driving the Audi R8, kept cool heads in a three hour race where management of fuel and tyres both played a critical role in the success.

With the Spanish-driven Mosler absent in this round, the Audi was up against a trio of Ferrari 458s - although that driven by David Mason and Calum Lockie was forced into early retirement by an onboard computer issue.

Also up front was the all-black Renault RS-01 of Nick Holden and Andrew McKenna who led the race at the one hour mark.

Nigel Moore and the York-based team were kept busy on the Sunday with the team not only running cars in other championships but also helping out with the Porsche 997 Cup in in the shorter Dunlop GT & Production Championship races.

The TMS duo will defend their position at the next round at Thruxton on July 3rd.
