NEWLY crowned SLT FM Solutions Ltd York & District Table Tennis League division one champions Coneysthorpe 'A' showed no mercy as they thrashed bottom team York RI 'D' 10-0 in their last game of term.

Filip Wojtkowiak starred for York RI 'C' as they held RI 'B' to a 5-5 draw, though this result still means the 'C' team will have to play-off against the division two runners-up to retain their top-flight status.

A treble from Aidan Ranftler was the highlight as Clarence 'A' and Coneysthorpe 'B' also shared the spoils.

A depleted Wigginton & Haxby are in a desperate battle to avoid the drop after they went down 8-2 to BT 'B'.

Russ Barton steered Bootham 'F' to a fine 6-4 triumph over their 'E' team.

To seal a fine week for Clarence club, their 'E' team secured the division four title, with Bob Fitzsimmons leading the way in an 8-2 victory over Trustmarque.
