New Earswick Indoor Bowls Club to host European Masters
NEW Earswick Indoor Bowls Club has been chosen to host the European Masters on Saturday, December 13.
The World Bowls Tour confirmed the Huntington Road club would stage the event which will see some of the leading PBA players battling it out for two places in the televised finals in 2015.
Some of the top names due to play are Norma Duin, from Holland, Blackpool’s Chris Gale, Gary Smith, from Stanley, Lee ‘Bomber’ Brown and world number 16 Simon Skelton.
The two winners from the New Earswick event will go through to meet 14 others to play-off for one of the coveted WBT Tourcards for the 2015/16 season of television ranking events.
