CRIS MATTHEWS was in top form as Tramways ‘B’ beat Golden Slipper 5-2 in the York Black Sheep Mixed Darts League.
In the singles, Matthews hit a 140, four 100s, a 121 and a bull checkout in legs of 19 and 21 darts, while he also fired a 140 in the pairs.
Sharon Neads hit a 100 and 135 in the singles, Steve Smith had a 138 in the four-hand and a 125 in the pairs, while Jill Reed logged a 117 in the singles.
Slipper’s Paul Partridge hit three 100s in the singles along with a 116 in a 22-dart leg. Phil Smith’s singles haul included a 100, a 121 and a 118.
Severus’ 6-1 win over Tadcaster was dominated by Dean Cairns, who had two 100s and a 140 in a 17-darter in the singles, plus three tons in the pairs. Wendy Storr hit a 100 and Dan Fairclough a 105.
Tadcaster’s big scorers were Janet Wharton (100, 101), Michael Robson (137) and Malcolm Smith (100, 137).
White Horse Poppleton were 5-2 winners over Clifton Hotel, aided by Andy Love (100, 121, 140) and Kerry Humble (104).
Tramways ‘A’ claimed a 5-0 walkover against Railway Institute.
