ELATED Neil Warnock was eager not to get carried away with his start to life at Leeds United after a 2-0 win at Middlesbrough.
The win reduced the gap between the Whites and Cardiff, currently in the last play-off place, to only four points with his first npower Championship victory since taking over from Simon Grayson.
Robert Snodgrass fired underneath Jason Steele in the 18th minute and Luciano Becchio converted Ross McCormack’s cross following a mistake by Justin Hoyte.
Warnock said: “We have to win a number of games now but we’re quite capable of that so the players have got to show the consistency that I know they can show to have any chance whatsoever.”
Boro’s Barry Robson was dismissed towards the end.
