The battle for the second automatic promotion spot in Coca-Cola League One looks set to go to the wire after victories for all four of the contenders.

Leeds United, Swindon, Millwall, and Charlton are separated by only two points, with the Robins leading the way.

Richard Naylor scored twice in five first half minutes as Leeds ended a run of four consecutive defeats with a 2-1 victory at Yeovil, for whom Dean Bowditch netted in the 66th minute.

Swindon had no trouble seeing off struggling Tranmere at the County Ground.

An own goal from Ben Gordon set the hosts on their way and Billy Paynter doubled the lead from the spot in the 37th minute after Terry Gornell had been dismissed for a foul on the striker.

Charlie Austin made it three in the 56th minute.

Millwall stayed a point behind Swindon after beating out-of-form Colchester 2-1. Kevin Lisbie cancelled out Steve Morison’s opener for the Lions, but an own goal 12 minutes from time gave the visitors the points.

Charlton beat Carlisle 1-0, while table-toppers Norwich won 2-1 over basement boys Stockport.
