UTMOST Respect came fast and late to give Malton trainer Richard Fahey victory in the £106,650 Duke of York Stakes at York Racecourse.
The 16-1 shot, ridden by Paul Hanagan, defied concerns about the ground to pass King's Apostle and Tax Free in the six furlong "dash for the cash".
