Keep Ringing, an eye-catcher on her first outing last month, is napped to fulfil that promise at Lingfield tomorrow.

Trained at Newmarket by William Haggas, the three-year-old was partnered by an inexperienced rider on her debut, and also showed sure signs of inexperience herself.

Missing the break, she raced towards the rear of the field before staying on in the last couple of furlongs when she was hampered by toiling rivals. In the circumstances, she did extremely well to finish sixth of the ten runners, beaten by only five lengths.

The benefit of that race should stand her in excellent stead tomorrow, while the step up to seven furlongs for the sportingbet.com Maiden Fillies’ Stakes should also be ideal. Add the booking of a leading rider in Michael Hills and Keep Ringing looks one to be on.

Trade Centre is an interesting runner in the Vortex And Fajr-Lingfield Winners Handicap.

Restricted so far to only two outings, Willie Muir’s four-year-old won on the second of those starts, a maiden race over this course and distance just over a fortnight ago.

He is into a handicap for the first time here and, although he will need to up his game against much more experienced rivals, this son of Dubai Destination has plenty of potential. He promises to go well.

Basra should give backers a good run for their money in the sportingbet.com Handicap.

A winner on this course in January, Jo Crowley’s charge has since finished a good second to King Olav under identical conditions. He is entitled to make a bold bid.

Kevin Ryan’s Northern Empire (3.05), who looked a little unlucky on his latest start, and recent winner Meikle Barfil (5.20) are two others to consider.

At Wolverhampton’s evening fixture, Garra Molly can oblige for North Yorkshire trainer Alan Swinbank in the opening Stay At The Wolverhampton Holiday Inn Fillies’ Handicap.

A recent comeback run, in which she finished second, was her first racecourse action since October of last year. She should be all the better with that race under her belt and it would come as no surprise to see her break her maiden in this run of the mill handicap. Eddie Ahern has the mount.

Merrion Tiger, winner of both his races this year, is confidently selected to complete a hat-trick in the Dine In The Horizons Restaurant Handicap.

George Foster’s gelding has won back-to-back handicaps at Southwell and, although he has a different surface to tackle here, he has run at Wolverhampton in the past. With regular rider Greg Fairley on board, he will be a tough nut to crack.

Make note also of the promising Yonder (9.20), who makes his reappearance for trainer Hughie Morrison and jockey Steve Drowne.
