Richard Fahey, only £4,000 short of taking his seasonal prize money in Britain through the £1 million barrier, sends Boppys Pride to Newbury tomorrow in a bid to reach a magical milestone.

The Malton trainer, who has exceeded £1m if wins in Ireland and France this season are taken into account, clearly has Boppys Pride in excellent heart, the four-year-old having finished second on his last two starts.

Beaten only two lengths by Red Current in an apprentices' race at Pontefract last time out, Boppys Pride can go one better in the FFI The Coffee People Apprentice Handicap. Jamie Moriarty takes the mount.

Wise Little Girl has good prospects of lifting the Electrolux Professional Fillies' Handicap.

The Michael Jarvis-trained three-year-old came good at Chester last time, winning in gritty style under Kevin Darley.

She tackles the same distance of ten furlongs tomorrow and is fancied to follow up.

Frankie Dettori has every chance of figuring among the winners on Newbury's eight-race programme.

Dettori teams up with an interesting newcomer in Fateh Field (1.10) and also Saleima (2.40), who showed plenty of promise on her debut at Newmarket when finishing a creditable third.

Beacon Lodge (1.40) is another maiden to note. Clive Cox must have been delighted with this juvenile's opening effort at Haydock recently when he just failed to get the better of Striking Spirit. Beacon Lodge should make a bold bid to step up here.

Mick Easterby does not have many runners at Kempton and the fact that the Sheriff Hutton trainer sends Inside Story to the Sunbury course tomorrow evening should be noted.

A decent third at Musselburgh on his latest start, Inside Story is a better horse on an artificial surface, so he should be in his element on this Polytrack circuit. Significantly, Easterby has booked the season's leading jockey Seb Sanders to take the mount. Inside Story is awarded the nap vote.

Noble Citizen will not be short of support in the TTL Nursery. The two-year-old, trained by David Simcock, got off the mark in pleasing style at Newmarket on his latest start. There could be more to come.

The speedy Hucking Hill (8.20) and recent course winner Pinch Of Salt (9.20) are two others to note.
