DAZZLING Rose can complete a quickfire Newmarket double by landing the Tamdown EBF Stallions Fillies' Handicap this evening.

John Gosden's (pictured) charge opened her account on the July Course three weeks ago, building on her narrow debut second at Lingfield back in February to lift a modest event with the minimum of fuss.

The Raven's Pass filly made light work of what had been a lengthy absence, grabbing the initiative on the far rail after just a couple of furlongs in a mile heat and finishing well clear of her rivals on that side.

The eventual runner up, Labyrinth, came down the centre that day and finished just over three lengths adrift but she has subsequently boosted the form with a comfortable verdict at Salisbury.

Dazzling Rose was hardly all-out to win on that occasion and while the handicapper has not exactly been light on her with a starting mark of 88, it nevertheless looks a workable rating and a recent Listed entry suggests connections feel there is a bit more to come.

That comment certainly applies to Pure Vanity who lines up in the Tamdown Handicap for Roger Charlton.

From the family of Rebecca Sharp, owner Anthony Oppenheimer will surely be eager to get a win with this New Approach filly as she is part of one of his most famous bloodlines.

She has not shown a complete lack of ability in three starts to date, running a fair fifth on her debut at Ascot last September despite appearing desperately in need of the experience.

Pure Vanity then claimed fourth in a Wolverhampton maiden that featured subsequent multiple winner and Goodwood second Sagely later that month before signing off for a winter break.

Tried at seven furlongs on her return at Lingfield in April, Pure Vanity failed to land a blow but the further experience will not have done her any harm and her rating of 67 leaves Charlton plenty to work with.

Vincentti did not enjoy the best of passages at Salisbury last time but can gain compensation in the Harry Bloom Memorial "Brighton Bullet" Handicap at the seaside track.

The six-year-old was slow to break that day and while he should have been able to race up the rails, his ponderous start saw him lose what should have been a decent pitch.

As it was he had to switch right around the field for a run and over a sprint trip in a tight heat, you just cannot afford to concede such an advantage.

Vincentti is already a winner at Brighton which bodes well for his chances and he should put up a bold show for Ron Harris off what is his lowest mark since 2012.

Intense Tango is more famed for her hurdling exploits now but that does not mean she cannot take a hand in the finish of the Archerfield Cup at Musselburgh.

She has raced over 12 furlongs on her last three starts but switching back up in distance to one mile and six furlongs can only be a positive step.
