CHAMPIONS Retford United and runners-up Bridlington Town have missed out on promotion from the Northern Counties East League premier division.
A range of concerns from the Football Association led to Retford being denied the chance to move up to Evo-Stik League division one north next season.
Runners-up Brid missed out on promotion on an average points ratio when compared to fellow runners-up in rival leagues.
That means both teams will compete against the likes of Pickering Town, Tadcaster Albion and Scarborough Athletic again next term.
