THE Tony Robinson Memorial Centenary Cup pre-season football competition will kick off at Rowntree’s Mille Crux ground on Monday, July 18.
Organisers Rowntrees open up against Huntington, while Poppleton and Wigginton meet on Tuesday, July 19, before Wigginton play the hosts on Thursday, July 21.
The second week of matches starts with Wigginton against Huntington on Monday, July 25, and Poppleton v Rowntrees on Tuesday, July 26.
The tournament concludes with Huntington against Poppleton Thursday, July 28.
All games will kick off at 6.30pm.
Rowntrees are now training on Tuesdays at 6.30pm and would welcome new players for their York Minster Engineering League premier division and reserve ‘C’ teams.
