HARROGATE Town are top of the early Nationwide North table after first strikes from two new players lifted them to a 3-2 win at Barrow.
Kirk Jackson finally made good on the potential that brought him to Wetherby Road with strikes on seven and 13 minutes to get his Town tally off the mark in style.
That was followed up by ex-York CIty midfielder Darren Dunning, who netted his first Town goal on 42 minutes to give the visitors a 3-0 cushion at half-time.
The Cumbrians though found a way through James Lindley's as yet unbreached net twice in the last six minutes to take the sheen off the win, with Stuart Howson bagging his in the 90th minute.
