TADCASTER Albion extended their 100 per cent start to the season to a seventh game with a 4-2 extra-time victory over Hemsworth Miners Welfare.

Andy Sunley and a Ross Haywood own goal saw Northern Counties East League first division leaders Albion locked at 2-2 with their Wilkinson Sword Trophy visitors after 90 minutes.

But Kevin Smith and Alan Jackson extra-time efforts ensured they progressed to the third round.

Scarborough Athletic’s run of five straight wins came to an end in a 1-0 President’s Cup defeat at Long Eaton United, where they won in the league at the weekend.
