SELBY Town put their eight-match unbeaten run on the line in a top of the table clash with Long Eaton United tomorrow.

The second-placed Robins host third-placed Long Eaton at Flaxley Road desperately needing a win to stay on the coat tails of Northern Counties East League premier division leaders Mickleover Sports.

Selby will be looking for big performances from their men in form at either end of the pitch.

’Keeper Adam Mitchell is targeting an eight clean sheet in nine matches, while Brenton Leister will provide the goal threat after taking his tally to 13 with a brace in a midweek 3-0 win over Arnold Town.

Mickleover, who are nine points clear having played two more games than Selby, are away to Hall Road Rangers.

Pickering Town are looking for their first win in six matches as they travel to Liversedge.

The return of defender Michael McNaughton inspired the Pikes to an improved showing against leaders Mickleover Sports in midweek. However, a last-minute goal from the visitors denied them a morale-boosting point after Chris Batchelor had made it 2-2 from the penalty spot with four minutes remaining.
