A FIVE-GOAL second half salvo saw Nestlé Flag increase their lead to nine points in division one of the York F1 Racing Premier Karting Sunday Morning Football League.

Flag trailed at the break to a goal from Wanderers’ Rich Bedingham, but hit back to win 5-1 with strikes from Chris Dyson, Matty Hartas, Stuart Ogden and Steve Rambridge (2).

Ainsty Panthers moved into second place with a 6-1 win over Hambleton. Jamie Moore and Matty Wain scored two apiece and Tom Reid and Arran Reid were also on target.

Selby Griffin remain bottom after losing 5-3 to visitors Skelton. Griffin’s scorers were Graham Stewart, Cory Fox and Matty Walker, while Skelton’s goals came from Ben Janes (2), Neale Holmes (2) and Craig Pragnell.

Selby Olympia lost 4-2 to Thorpe. Cy Mortimer, Adam Garner and Dean Wood (2) netted for Thorpe, with Olympia’s two goals coming from Steve Jeff.

Luke Richardson scored five goals as Acorn hammered Selby RSSC 12-1 in division three to make up ground on leaders Cawood. Leigh Dutton scored a hat-trick and Lee Goddard got two to add to goals from Paul Bailey and Dave Melody.

Britannia Tadcaster extended their unbeaten run to four games as they came from behind to draw 1-1 with Acomb Athletic. Ross Bardy equalised Mark Stockdale’s opener for Athletic.

Goals from Carl Stewart and Carlos Andrade Pinto (2) helped Marcia Grey beat Shoulder of Mutton 3-1. Shoulder’s goal was by Danny Edmondson.

Selby Olympia Reserves beat Barlby 8-0 with goals from Steffan Sweeting, Chris Coxon, Matty Howden, Haydn Parsonage, John Richardson, an own goal and Rob Friar (2).

F1 Racing sped into a 3-0 lead at the break with goals from Stuart McGarva, Andy Simpson and Neil Yeowart against Gypsy Moth.

The Selby side hit back to draw with goals by Joe Ratcliffe, Michael Mapplebeck and Chris Trotter.

A hat-trick from Steve Matthews helped division four leaders Hambleton Lions to a 5-0 win over New Earswick. Ian Huddlestone and Gary Stewart also scored.

Acomb WMC made it seven wins out of seven after beating hosts Raskelf 5-0. Danny Gray bagged a hat-trick, while Matty Horner and Matty Chipchase also scored.

LNER Builders hit the target three times with a brace from Adam Holland plus a Mark Winter goal, but it was not enough as they went down 6-3 at St John.

Hemingbrough beat Turf Tavern 5-0 with Ricki Hutton scoring a treble to add to goals from Matty Zacharenko and Nathan Briggs.

Leeman United hammered bottom side Linton-on-Ouse 16-0, with Nathan Marlarkey leading the way with seven goals.

Jamie Dawes got a hat-trick and Robbie Beavers (2), Craig Ware, Liam Stilgoe, James Clamp and Alistair Hodgson also scored.

A Darren Cox goal saw Yearsley Forest beat Cueball Reserves 1-0.
