A REPLAY will be needed to separate FA Vase foes Pickering Town and Eccleshill United after a 1-1 second round share-all.

The rivals from the Northern Counties East League premier division will meet again at the Pikes' Recreation Ground tomorrow (7.45pm).

Richard Whitfield gave Pickering the lead after 23 minutes at Eccleshill on Saturday, only for the hosts to level through Chris Rosindale's penalty with 29 minutes remaining.

Extra-time failed to settle the tie so a third round place will be up for grabs tomorrow.

Pickering were also knocked off the top of the premier division by Glapwell, who beat Thackley 5-0 to go one point clear with three games in hand.

Selby Town are seventh after their 3-1 victory at Mickleover Sports.

The Robins fell behind to an 11th-minute goal from Adam Slater.

But the visitors hit back to level through Steve Lyon in the 29th minute.

Christian Fox put Selby in front after 51 minutes and Lyon made sure of the points with his second seven minutes later.

Tadcaster Albion slipped to ninth in division one as they were beaten 2-0 at Dinnington Town.

Albion were grateful to goalkeeper Tom Ryder for keeping the score down to two, but he was powerless to prevent second half goals from Ant Lynham and Michael Blythen.

Scarborough Athletic maintained their promotion push with a 4-0 home victory over Rossington Main to go third.

All the goals came in 20 second half minutes, with Ryan Blott scoring on 50 and 68 minutes, sandwiching a 67th minute strike by Richard Metcalf.

Scott Phillips rounded off the goal blitz with a 70th minute effort.

Meanwhile, Harrogate Town moved back to the top of Blue Square North with a 3-2 victory over Tamworth at Wetherby Road.

Nick Wright gave the Lambs a surprise second minute lead, but Town hit back with two goals from Mark Hume, on 21 and 39 minutes, to lead at half-time.

Matthew Williams equalised after five minutes of the second half, but former York City midfielder Darren Dunning scored a 69th minute winner for Harrogate.

Kettering's 1-1 draw with Alfreton Town handed Harrogate a one point advantage at the top of the table.

Harrogate Railway Athletic's FA Cup heroes turned in another fine performance as they beat fourth-placed Garforth Town 1-0 in division one north.

Railway, who have a televised second round tie against Mansfield to look forward to on December 2, got the better of the hosts courtesy of a 56th-minute goal from Nick Smith.
