Star striker Danny Gray could be set to leave Tadcaster Albion, writes Gavin Aitchison.
Liversedge, who play a flight above Albion In the Northern Counties East League premier division, have sought permission to talk to the 22-year-old, who has scored 12 goals already this season.
Tadcaster boss Jimmy Reid said: "Someone from above always comes in if you are doing well. That's non-league for you.
"But Liversedge is 30 miles further away from Tadcaster, and fingers crossed we will be able to hold on to him. If he goes, he goes, but hopefully he can stay this year. It's good from his point of view to have other clubs looking at him."
