TADCASTER Albion return to action in Evo-Stik League First Division North against Ramsbottom United.

The Brewers, who are 11 points clear of the relegation zone, have not played for a fortnight due to the postponement of last weekend's game at Kendal Town.

They will be hoping for an attendance that maintains their status among the top three supported clubs in the division.

Figures published this week reveal that only Glossop North End and Scarborough Athletic have enjoyed bigger average gates this season.

The Brewers' average at the i2i Stadium has been 333 compared to Glossop (362) and Scarborough (340).

Scarborough manager Steve Kittrick wants his players to honour the memory of chairman David Holland by winning promotion.

Mr Holland, whose funeral takes place on Monday, had made no secret of his desire to lead the club back to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

The club is also on the brink of returning to a new ground in Scarborough - ten years after the closure of Scarborough FC and the start of a ground-sharing agreement at Bridlington Town.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's home game with Trafford, Kittrick said: "We have got to do it for Dave now. Hopefully we can get enough points to get in those play-offs and give him what he wanted.

"His dream was to go to back to a new ground in Scarborough and get back in the Evo-Stik Premier. That's all he wanted. I am gutted for him that he is not going to be able to see his dream."

Midfielder James Cadman is set to make his debut after signing on a dual-registration from Harrogate Town.
