IT'S A massive weekend for York City Ladies with both of their senior teams featuring in the County Cup semi-finals for the very first time.
The Minsterbelles are already record six-times winners and current holders of the trophy having beaten Middlesbrough in last season's final.
But they haven't actually kicked a ball in the competition this time around, following walkover victories against Fishburn Park and Guisborough.
On Sunday afternoon, City host twice runners-up Stokesley at Haxby Road with a 2pm kick-off.
At the same time, their reserves will be taking on hosts York Railway Institute, who knocked out five-time winners Middlesbrough in the first round.
The Belles' free-scoring reserves previously crushed South Park Rangers 7-2 on their travels, courtesy of goals from Rachel Harding, Laura Porritt, Alice Turner (2), Sophie Tinson, Georgia Marsden and Sammy Terry.
They followed that with an equally emphatic 6-0 home quarter-final triumph over Cleveland Ladies, with Ellie Randall scoring four times and Porritt adding a brace.
Both City Ladies' teams are currently higher-ranked than York RI and Stokesley, who are each going well in the North Riding Premier League in second and fourth respectively.
