ADAM BAKER has decided to leave Tadcaster Albion ahead of the Brewers' Evo-Stik League division one north trip to Droylsden this weekend.

The winger netted 19 goals in Taddy's Northern Counties East League title-winning season last term, including the one that effectively sealed promotion against Armthorpe Welfare.

But he has not nailed down a regular spot this term.

A Tadcaster statement said: "As a club we certainly wanted Adam to stay but the player was adamant he needed a move in search for more pitch time. We respect that decision.

"We would like to thank Adam for all of his efforts during his time at the club and wish him and his family well for the future."
