CHAMPIONS Dunnington extended their lead in the York Minster Engineering League Reserve A with a 5-1 victory away at Hemingborough United.

Harry Todd, Simon Castle, Robert Hart, Tom Anderson, and Andy Rose scored for Dunnington with Ryan Taylor replying for United.

Thorpe United hammered Wigginton Grasshoppers 9-0 to remain in pursuit of Dunnington.

Old Malton St Mary's won 3-0 at Church Fenton White Horse and Malton and Norton won by the same scoreline at home to Dringhouses. Malton and Norton's scorers were Ryan Cooper, Kingsley Daffern, and Danny Dawes.

F1 Racing made it five wins out of six in Reserve B with a 2-0 victory over Easingwold Town thanks to strikes from Milan Manandhar and Ben Calverley. The game was marred by an accidental but serious injury to Nathaniel Yeomans.

Riccall United hold on to second spot after an own goal and efforts from Deller and Lock (2) gave them a 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge, for whom Greg Ashcroft grabbed both goals.

Ben Ballantyne hit a double for Harrison Signs in a 4-3 win over Brooklyn. Rorie Stead and Chris Bullen bagged Signs' other goals.

Nick Lawrie scored a penalty for Osbaldwick in a 3-1 loss at Bishopthorpe United. Pocklington Town defeated Tockwith by six goals to nil.

Poppleton United continue to dominate Reserve C and, this week, Wetherby Athletic were their victims, suffering a 7-1 loss.

Reece Holmes, Joe Vaughan, Niall Kirby (2), Kieran Blondrage, Will Brown and man of the match Adam Morton fired Poppy to success.

Jordan Wyard scored a hat-trick for York RI in a 4-2 win at Civil Service.

Rob Hobson added the fourth while Chris Dawson and Mark Lund (penalty) scored for the home side.

Heworth Green gained a 1-0 success over Malt Shovel.
