BARMBY MOOR moved seven points clear of their rivals in York Minster Engineering League division two after a 9-1 win over Strensall, for whom Josh Winn struck a consolation.

Second-placed Thorpe United lost ground after Myron Turbine's strike gave Stamford Bridge a 1-0 win at Field Lane. Haxby United moved up to third after a 3-2 win at Bishopthorpe United.

Wilberfoss made it six from six in division three and moved to the top of the league with a 4-2 win over Cawood.

Ged Vale (2), Olly Newby and Mark Willoughby found the net for the home side with James Darlison and Jamie Forrest hitting the target for Cawood.

Former leaders Moor Lane ran out of steam against Selby Olympia.

Goals from Danny Rodgers and Chris McCluskie had allowed the sides to go in 2-2 at the break, but Selby Olympia struck twice more in the second half to secure a 4-2 triumph.

Josh Shepherd (2) and Craig Theaker gave Civil Service a 3-0 half-time lead against Rufforth United. Liam Keenaghan briefly brought Rufforth back into the game but an own goal and a second Theaker strike gave Civil Service a 5-1 success.

Craig Atkins (2) and Andy Stone bagged for Bubwith FC but they were outscored 7-3 by visitors South Milford.

LNER Builders won their division four clash with New York WMC 3-2.

Huntington Rovers continue to set the pace in Reserve 'A' after a 4-2 win over Harrison Signs. Dan Collins and Warren Lowe struck for Signs but they were outscored as Lee Bunce, Kieran Flanagan and Ashley Hill (2) all found the net for Rovers.

Dunnington continue to give chase after winning a hotly contested battle against Thorpe United 4-2.

The Common Road side remain three points behind with two games in hand.

Old Malton St Mary’s moved up to third after a 5-0 win over Riccall United.

In Reserve 'B', second-placed Tockwith suffered an unlikely home defeat as they crashed 4-0 to bottom club Easingwold Town.

Dave Ablett struck a double hat-trick for Pocklington as they won 9-4 against Bishopthorpe United. Ash Newton, Sam Parkinson and Jack Lewis were also on target.

Tom Sellars scored a last minute winner for Heslington as they won 3-2 at Haxby. John Pipes and Adain Bardy were also on the scoresheet for the visitors.

Osbaldwick maintained their 100 per cent record in Reserve 'C' with a 7-4 triumph at Fulford. Nick Lawrie (3), Matty O’Connell (2), Oliver Green and Mark Triffitt shared the goals.

Civil Service were held to a 2-2 scoreline at half-time at Poppleton but managed to get on top in the second half and take the points with a 5-3 victory.

James Shaw (3) and Jason Hogg (2) inflicted the damage for Civil Service while Charlie Jackson, Liam Brown and Nick Moss all took their chances for Poppleton.

Joe White put Cliffe in the lead against hosts F1 Racing only for Ben Calverley and George Cooper to put F1 2-1 ahead. Ed Butterfield then levelled the scores before Glynn Richardson fired a late winner for the visitors.
